Swing-With-Your-Heart Fight Against Cancer Event was July 20

NOTE:  Sunday Aug 17 Caroline and her parents Reza and Cheryl will be coming to the field at 11:00 AM and Steve Collo will present the Wrathalls their gift. The committee is inviting you all to attend this special gathering 

The committee members — Steve Collo, Mark Dushkin, David Cain, Ron Josephson, Gary Kloehn, Leo Benavidez, Mike Yasumatsu and Daryl Wasano — would like to THANK team sponsors, auction donors, player participants, volunteers families and friends for making this years SWYH EVENT memorable.

 

What took place in a 5 week window was simply amazing, SWYH this year was able to help out two recipients Dennis Russinello and Caroline Wrathall in their fight against cancer.

 

The SWYH Committee met for one last time on Wednesday July 30 and presented Dennis his gift; on Sunday Aug 17 Caroline and her parents Reza and Cheryl will be coming to the field at NOON and Steve Collo will present the Wrathalls their gift. The committee is inviting you all to attend this special gathering.

LC35AC VP Daryl Wasano was inducted into the Oceanside High Hall of Fame Saturday November 2 for his dedicated community service, for more than 15 years of coaching. A large number (~15-20) of LC 35 members showed up to the ceremony. Daryl was one of 6 people inducted from Academic, Arts, Athletics, Business, or Community Service achievement. Read more…
