LC35AC VP Daryl Wasano was inducted into the Oceanside High Hall of Fame Saturday November 2 for his dedicated community service, for more than 15 years of coaching. A large number (~15-20) of LC 35 members showed up to the ceremony. Daryl was one of 6 people inducted from Academic, Arts, Athletics, Business, or Community Service achievement.
Daryl asked that the following to be posted:
My heart felt “THANKS” to those that so gave of their time to attend my OHS Hall of Fame Induction on Nov 02. I was humbled to see so many of you there to show your support. LC-35 Athletic Club ruled the gym that’s for sure. I will not name names for fear of missing anyone, you all know who you are.
To those that have left messages on FB, “THANK YOU” for the kind words of encouragement and support.
This is why we have the best “Athletic Club” in all of San Diego County.
Thank You “ALL” and I will see you on the field,
The La Costa 35 Athletic Club was formed in 1984 to promote friendly competition, good sportsmanship and social fun for all its members. We strive to establish a safety first environment for all of our activities and realize that the health of our members and their families is an ever present and all-important consideration for the League.
We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our league is a positive influence in the lives of our members as well as the broader community.
Our league is registered as a non-profit organization. We appreciate the generous support from all of our members and their families.
Sportsmanship – Teamwork – Strength – Character
Comradeship – Dedication – Community
Being with friends, supporting each other and our families, giving back to the community and enjoying the gifts that God has given us is what LC35AC is all about.
