NOTICE TO NEW PLAYERS:

The number of players that may participate in La Costa 35 Athletic Club’s summer softball divisions is finite due to the limitations of field availability. Players who are currently members of La Costa 35 Athletic Club have preference for player positions over new registrants to the League. If you are a first time player in the League, having never participated as a registered member in either football or any of the softball divisions, you must first submit this registration for review and approval by the Commissioner of the appropriate division prior to submitting your payment to the League as described herein. The current list of commissioners can be found here. Due to the City of Carlsbad’s requirement for minimum participation by City residents in athletic leagues utilizing City facilities, preference will also be given to new players who are Carlsbad residents or who own real estate in the City of Carlsbad over new players who are not Carlsbad residents. New players will be notified prior to the first game of the regular softball season as to their approval for membership to the League. Approved new players must then submit their payment no later than the deadline stated on the league registration page.
